Products and Orders

1. What items are sold on the Ski Clinic website?
Our site offers a selection of referenced products, presented in 4 categories:
– Racing: equipment for competitive skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing
– Leisure: equipment for leisure sports, alpine skiing, ski touring, telemark, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing…
– Textile et accessoires: une sélection de produits allant des vêtements à la bagagerie…
– Price cuts: clearance items, sales, discontinued items…

2. How do I place an order in the Ski Clinic shop?
All you need to do is check out the product descriptions for the products your interested in and click on “order”.  For some items, you may be required to select a size.  To do so, tick the box of the size you want.  Next, you’ll have to create a personal account in order to provide us with the necessary information for the preparation and delivery of your order.  Lastly, you’ll be required to select a means of delivery among the proposed options (see our delivery page, here) and to choose the means of payment (see our payment page, here).  Your order is then confirmed.

3. Is the product I want available?
All of the products on the site are available, with a few exceptions that are specified as by-order only.  However, if the number of orders in a day is greater than the available stock, we could be unable to deliver the requested product.  In this case, we’ll contact you as soon as possible so as to find a solution (suggest a similar product, canceling of the order, delayed delivery…)

4. How long does it take for my order to be sent?
Your order is processed the day it’s received (if before 11 AM) or the next business day.  Your order is sent once it’s prepared (the lead time is longer for skis, as they need to be prepared).

5. Are products sold on the Ski Clinic site guaranteed?
All the products benefit from a commercial warranty, that applies if the product affected by an apparent or hidden defect.  The usual warranty period is one year, but certain exceptions apply (warranty extension, etc.) Such a defect is determined exclusively by the manufacturer, for which Ski Clinic is merely the intermediary with the customer.  Misuse of the product does not constitute a manufacturer’s defect.

6. I ordered a product and the price has since changed: can I benefit from this new price?
During the 2 days following your order, we pledge to reimburse the difference.  Send us an email at shop@skiclinic.fr, with the following elements: your name, your order number, the product price, and the exact internet address where the product price is indicated.  If your request is accepted, you’ll receive a gift certificate for the amount of the difference, for use on the Ski Clinic site, valid 1 year starting at the date of send.

7. How can I obtain my invoice?
You can find your invoice in your account page, in your order follow-ups.

8. The search engine can’t seem to find the product I’m looking for?
Several things could cause this:
– the product is no longer in our stocks and we’ve not yet been able to remove it from our site
– Ce produit ne fait pas partie de nos références.

Contact us for more information.

9. How are the bindings mounted on the skis?
The ski product descriptions each have a space at the bottom where personal information can be provided for the personalization of the bindings:
– mandatory: the length of the sole of your ski boots.  Usually indicated on the side of the sole, in mm (ex: 328 mm)
– optional: the forward or backwards shift of the binding and the middle of your shoe, in regards to the middle of the ski, in mm (expert)

To set the hardness advised by the manufacturer:
– optional: your weight in KG.  Please be careful to check the weight setting prior to skiing; this is a personal setting that is different for each skier.

NB We don’t attach snowboard bindings
